ABOUT US
Toronto Metropolitan Aero Design (TMAD) is a student design team based at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our team is made up of a students who engage in team activities on a voluntary basis. TMET is dedicated to enriching the learning experience of our members by allowing them to participate in a hands-on engineering challenge at the SAE Aero Design Series.
As per competition rules, TMAD designs, builds, and manufactures a Radio Controlled (RC) aircraft every year. The aircraft design details are based on competition rules and vary over time. For the 2022-2023 year, our team is tasked with designing an RC aircraft capable of deploying payload to a specified target location during flight.
